Things since Colette's last blog have been certainly interesting. I'll try not to repeat too much of what Colette said in her glorious second blog. As Colette said, we are in France.
You know, if you look where we've been, it looks like a demon-snake thing. Sorry, I've started to watch Stranger Things, it's stuck in my brain👍.

See, it does. Or maybe a whale? Colette says, 'Like a hippy crocodile', which I think is a bit too specific.
Anyway: What Colette didn't tell you in her blog was a) the museum exhibition we went to was about the Cosquer cave, discovered in 1991 by Henri Cosquer. It was very cool and, quote, unquote, the most unique cave in the world.
It is true that there were penguins.
It was also in Marseille.
After Marseille, we did another night crossing across the Gulf of Lion, to where we are now, the small town with a marina, Gruissan!
It's soooo flat here, it's crazy. There are massive piles of salt dumped on fields just off the road and there are - wow - flamingoes in a very muddy estuary. Oh, and we dropped our bimini off for repairs after it's zipper busted on the first of two nights in Corsica (Mistral, how could you?).
And then we stuffed all -and I mean all - our dirty clothes into some bags and took out the recycling (uGh SO BoRInG) and waited for Grampy (translation for you non-Naullses: Grandfather) to collect us for 'visiting the grandparents, round 2'.
While we got there, Grampy was saying what an awful week they had with the PPOokpij (For privacy reasons I cannot share this with you, sorry). But they only had an awful week because Nonny (Grandmother) was sick, and passed her bug to the PPOokpij.
When we got there, we said hi to Pango, their dog, (Yes, they named her after the Maori color black, you win nothing if you can guess what color she is 🙄) which is the first thing always, because she steps on your feet and barks loudly, so you can never forget her.
Then we said hi to Nonny who was chilling. We had lunch, Colette was starving, in her words. Nonny and Grampy then took Pango out for a walk while we went to the pool. Dad and Colette really had fun, Mum had to tell them to be quiet four times. After dinner, we all went to sleep at around 10pm-ish.
I was sneezing all day when I woke up. I just assumed it was hay fever for the first time in months. We started a puzzle and walked into the local town, Capestang. Pretty uneventful, really. After we went to bed at 10 again and woke up at 11, compliments of the fireworks for one of many marriages, we were doing pretty well until after about 1 am, when Colette pretty much threw up for the rest of the night. I didn't sleep at all after that.
In the morning, Colette and I were very sick. I couldn't get out of bed except to go to the bathroom. If the day before was uneventful, this was starved of events, though I found a new series to watch (Sherlock).
The next day, Grampy was also feeling terrible, though Colette was jumping up and down. Grampy took a COVID test and it returned positive, so I took one (That was the new worst experience I've ever had.) and mine was positive, too. So I reckon, I gave it to Grampy.
That was my first time having covid and receiving a RAT test.
Right now, we're on our way to Mallorca! We don't have time for Minorca, sadly.
